Commune ("us", "we", or "our") operates the website for Smokefree Social, Commune, the private Facebook groups (the "Service"), & other 3rd party applications with this brand.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

Smokefree Social Terms & Conditions

The Smokefree Social is an online support group for people in Minnesota who want to live tobacco-free. The 3-month long private Facebook groups are by sign-up only and participants must first qualify to join a group. To qualify for a Smokefree Social group, participants must:

  1. Be between the ages of 18-29.

  2. A current resident of Minnesota.

  3. Have used tobacco at least once in the past 30 days.

  4. Have at least 25 friends on Facebook (this helps us identify possible fake accounts).

Users and participants may be disqualified if they:

  1. Provide any false information to qualify for groups

  2. Attempt to submit or qualify for the program more than once or under more than one alias

Sign up and pre-group survey

To sign up for the Smokefree Social, users go to SmokefreeSocialMN.JointheCommune.com and complete the screener questions. If the user qualifies, they will receive a link to a private Facebook group. Once the new participant joins the group, they will receive an email that includes a link to a pre-group survey that participants must complete within 7 days after the group begins to be eligible for the gift card. Once the participant completes the pre-group survey, they will receive an email with a link for a $20 Amazon gift card.

Daily Posts and Group Participation

Once the groups begin, participants will see one new post per day for 90-days. Participants are encouraged to engage with the content and interact with each other in the groups to provide social support for living tobacco-free. If participants comment on at least 50% (45 or more) of the daily posts during the 90-day group, they will receive a $60 Amazon gift card at the end of the group. Emails with links to the gift cards will be sent out within 3 weeks (21 days) of the last group post.

Post-Group Survey

On the last day of the group, participants will receive a link to a follow up survey that they must complete within 7 days to be eligible to receive a $40 Amazon Gift Card. This will be sent out at the same time as the Group Participation gift cards noted above.

These survey offers are in no way administered or endorsed by Facebook. User agrees release  Facebook of all related liability. Citizens of the European Union and those living in the European Union are excluded from participation in this website and excluded from all corresponding offers.
